Mark Laybourn

Mark Laybourn is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and corporate finance executive with more than two decades across investment banking, corporate advisory and senior in-house finance roles. At Euroz Securities he led more than 70 equity raisings and 15 M&A transactions, with an aggregate transaction value of approximately A$5 billion. He went on to head the CFO Advisory practice at Deloitte Perth, then served as General Manager of Commercial Finance at HBF Health, where he oversaw an A$1.8 billion investment portfolio. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer of ASX-listed DigitalX Limited and Senior Manager in Finance and Enterprise Performance at Accenture. Mark holds an MBA with Distinction from the University of Western Australia, a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from Kaplan Professional, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University.

Steve Rouse

Steve Rouse is a senior engineering executive with four decades of experience delivering complex industrial infrastructure across Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and South East Asia. During his tenure as Managing Director of Babbage Australia, he has overseen the delivery of more than A$2 billion in major capital projects, building the firm’s Melbourne practice into a respected specialist in large-scale process engineering and capital works management. His career spans senior operational and engineering roles with Fonterra in New Zealand, the founding of his own engineering consultancy in 1998, and leadership of seven major construction programmes in New Zealand. Earlier, he served eight years as an officer in the Royal New Zealand Army Engineers. Steve holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Auckland and a Postgraduate Diploma in Dairy Science and Technology.

Pat Groenhout

Pat Groenhout is one of Australia’s most experienced forestry executives. During his tenure as Managing Director of PF Olsen Australia, the country’s largest independent forestry services provider, he led the management of 165,000 hectares and nearly one million tonnes of annual log harvesting across NSW, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, Western Australia and South Australia. He has held senior roles at FSC Australia, VicForests, State Forests of NSW, and now serves as Managing Director of Greenwood Strategy, a forestry and natural resources consultancy. Pat holds a Bachelor of Science (Forestry, Honours) from the Australian National University, a Graduate Diploma in Resource Economics from the University of New England, and has completed executive education at INSEAD.

Shay Radcliffe

Shay Radcliffe founded All Above Reforestation Australia in 2019 and now leads the Radix Group, which operates AARA alongside Radix Workforce Solutions and Silvitec. With over a decade in environmental contracting, his focus spans strategic planning, business development, client and relationship management, procurement, and capital management across forestry, revegetation, and civil delivery.
